[One of Maverick's duties is to check up on the ruins whenever he's not too busy. They're known for the wild monsters that live there and it's part of his job to make sure that they don't get too vicious. It's also a good idea to make sure that the groups exploring there haven't gotten into too much trouble.

Today's patrol has gone smoothly, until he spots a lone, odd-looking Naga on the path. His upper half is far too human-like than the norm, and his lower half is longer and thinner than the average Naga.
