It was hard to look like he wasn't listening. He'd always been really attentive in school. He had to make eye contact, he had to always be raising his hand. Otherwise he'd get scolded for the drawings that filled his notebook margins.
This Zack seemed like he'd been through a lot. And he'd done Roman quite the nice couple of favors so he thought it was the least he could do to reward him with the least fake sounding purr he could muster.
