What could you do, tied to a stake in a swamp? His cheek was practically pressed to the mud if he shifted on his aching shoulder enough.

He ventures once he's opened his eyes, considering the long seemingly endless body, "Though I figure you're still going to eat you if I tell you any sort of tale of woe, so. Might as well get on with it. Just, don't let me die in this god awful dress. I mean, if you'd be so kind."
His expression is kind of hopeless. Though he figured dragons were legendary creatures. If they could talk, surely they understood last requests, right?
