DESCRIPTION
JW is about twenty feet long from the top of his head to the tip of his tail. His skin is purple with green accent patterns. He's got a light tan underbelly. Sometimes I color his hair green and sometimes I color it blonde. I always forget which one I decided on, but it doesn't really matter. He's got yellow eyes and little lines of heat pits under them.

SETTINGS

GAME EVENT AU - Some games don't need much of a reason for shapeshifting events to occur. I've been in a few! Want to work off of established CR? Just assume some temporary bullshit is happening in a game we're already both in! JW is a snek now. Maybe your character is un-changed or maybe they're something else entirely! Up to you.

CANON AU - In his canon, JW has learned to move between worlds. What does he do with this knowledge? He steals shit and then sells it back on earth to antique dealers. Well this time he's gotten ahold of a cursed bangle in the shape of The Ouroboros. It constricted to his wrist and changed his body. Now he's freaked out and acting carelessly and somehow wound up dumping his ass into YOUR character's world.

The naga suddenly and sorely wished he hadn't thrown his pillow no the floor so he could hit Ginko with it. He sat up too and joined in the effort. Wow, now that he was awake he'd really gone full pretzel hadn't he?

"If this place catches on fire, we'll both die before we can get out the door," he observed.

Wow, thanks for that, JW. Ginko raised an eyebrow at him - then replied, "At least then you'll be warm."

No, he's not going to stop.

Once all of him was on the bed again, JW caught on that Ginko was in one of his sassy moods. WELL THEN. He leaned around in front of him and rared up so that he was taller.

"Real funny." He passed in front of him. "If you had it your way, we'd live on that god-forsaken mountain." Another pass. "I promise one of these days, we'll be rich and I'll buy you the biggest walk-in freezer you've ever seen and you can just--" He tightened his coils around the troll. "LIVE in there. But you'll have to make do with cold-blooded until then."

To anyone else, that squeeze might seem a little threatening, but Ginko just laughed softly and then leaned forward to kiss JW on the nose. "Good to know. But I think this will do just fine."

He knew good and well he wasn't fooling Ginko with his spooky scary snake routine but part of him still got a little huffy when literally no one quailed before his DEADLINESS. This was all interrupted when Ginko whipped out his secret weapon that caused JW to freeze up.

The naga clapped a hand over his nose, unable to hide the colors showing through the scales that peppered his face. Of course he'd pick the ONE SPOT that he was self-conscious about to kiss. It got him every damn time.

"That's not fair."

Victory. Ginko grinned, still leaning forward.

"Really? If you don't like it I could stop."

Damn it damn it damn it Ginko's BIG STUPID FACE was almost against his and he couldn't stop the wobbly grin creeping across his face. This was so dumb, this was--

--he lost the battle. JW started laughing, all twenty feet of him twitching and losing their grip on the troll as he convulsed.

Ginko took that loosening as an opportunity to wiggle free - though, rather than taking his chance to actually get up, he just wrapped his arms around JW and dropped back onto the bed, still with that dumb grin.

JW let out a surprised honking sound very unbefitting of a naga that exploded into more laughter at the end when the bed bounced loudly underneath them. The force of the drop sent a very slow, whipcrack undulation though JW's body that ended with several of his coils sliding off onto the floor again.

"Look what-- look what you did!"

"Sorry." Ginko didn't sound very sorry at all. He leaned up to kiss JW again, his tail flicking slightly.

JW opened his mouth to start scolding him over proper coil care when he was thwarted yet again. His bedfellow the troll was a dastardly opponent! It was time to fight back. He drew his head back and shook it before pressing his narrow chest against Ginko's.

"I don't believe you're sssssssorry at all." He flicked his long forked tongue along Ginko's jaw and against his ear.

Ginko let out another quiet burst of laughter at the tickling of JW's tongue across his skin - it was a little less smug this time, though, as his heart gave a startled little skip in his chest.

Being a snake, he was pretty good at sensing vibrations and you can bet he picked up on that right away. "Ssssay you're sssssssorry." He darted his tongue against the dip of Ginko's throat before trying to inchworm forward out of Ginko's grip so that he could lay his elbows on either side of the troll's head.

"I'd hate to have t'bite you."

JW could move forward without too much trouble; Ginko's grip wasn't too tight to begin with, and when he felt the naga shifting he pointedly made sure he had enough room to. He grinned up at JW, rubbing his fingers idly in small circles on his back.

"If that's meant to convince me, you'll have to try harder than that."

JW shuddered and let himself grin a stupid, jagged grin. He was pretty sure that was around where his hips used to be, but when you were twenty feet long it could be hard to tell.

"Higher, yeah? My shoulders are killin' me."

The end of his tail reappeared over the edge of the bed and swept under Ginko's head and shoulders so that he had something to prop up on and continued on its way encircling them both. If Ginko was going to comfort him, why couldn't he return the favor? JW was more or less a mobile, reformable sofa with scales. He didn't continue his threats yet. He just admired the way the green stones jutting out of Ginko's head and the little ones peppering his cheeks caught what little sunlight was allowed through the window.

"You know, we don't even need a bed. We could just dump all the blankets on the floor and then you wouldn't get in trouble."

Ginko leaned forward a little when JW's tail moved under him, making sure it was situated properly (and not at risk of getting jabbed by the rocks on his back) before he lay down against it again. He moved his hands up obligingly, continuing to rub gently at JW's shoulders.

"Ah, what fun would that be. This makes things way more exciting." Really, Ginko had found himself dumped on the floor a fair number of times, as well.

That was nice.

He stretched his arms out and flopped back down onto Ginko's chest, letting his chin hook over one of the man's shoulders. He didn't care about trapping him anymore or continuing with whatever big scary snake bit he'd been playing earlier. With the troll's fingers working at the knots in his shoulder muscles, he may as well have been a twenty foot noodle. His whole body went limp. It was kind of pathetic.

"Thank youuuu." He was a little sad he couldn't really return the favor. Rocks and all. But if Ginko wasn't so pointy, who could he wrap himself around when it was time to shed his skin? "Thank you thank you."

"No problem." Ginko managed to suppress another quiet laugh at the change in JW's demeanor as he kept working at his shoulders. He turned his head a little to press a quick kiss on his cheek.

The naga hissed out another laugh, the very end of his tail coiling itself into a tight spiral. "How are you so good? The hell did I do to bag a furball like you?"

He winced suddenly when Ginko's hands found a loose scale. Ow ow, yeah, that had needed to come out anyway but it still sucked. Soon enough, he relaxed again, enjoying the thrum of Ginko's heartbeat against his shallow chest.

"Mm. Guess we both just got lucky." Sorry, JW, but if you meant to compliment Ginko without having it turned around on you, you were probably hoping for too much.

He mumbled an apology as the loose scale came free, rubbing carefully around the spot where it used to be without actually touching it, in case it was still sore.

He'll take that compliment!

Once the soreness was worked out of his shoulders, JW went right back to business and that business was being a pain and refusing to let Ginko out of bed. Because really, how could he POSSIBLY have somewhere more important to go? He leaned up and stretched his jaws hideously wide in a tongue-curling yawn before flopping right back down on him and feigning sleep.

Oh wow of course. To be fair, Ginko probably should have left when he had the chance.

He patted at JW's arm with a sigh. "Hey, c'mon. You planning on keeping me here all winter or something?"

One of JW's larger coils edged closer to Ginko while the other end of it looped around the troll's leg and tightened up.

"I did some reading back when this snake bullshit started," he said through another yawn and buried his head in the crook of Ginko's neck. "And found out snakes hibernate"

"Well, trolls don't, and some trolls have work to do."

For the time being, though, he gave up, dropping his hand back on JW's back. "Tell me, do you try to make my life difficult, or does it just happen?"

Despite his words, his voice was unmistakably fond.

"Some would call it a natural talent. Besides, I can't hear you, I'm asleep right now," said JW who was very much and totally asleep for real.
