DESCRIPTION
JW is about twenty feet long from the top of his head to the tip of his tail. His skin is purple with green accent patterns. He's got a light tan underbelly. Sometimes I color his hair green and sometimes I color it blonde. I always forget which one I decided on, but it doesn't really matter. He's got yellow eyes and little lines of heat pits under them.

SETTINGS

GAME EVENT AU - Some games don't need much of a reason for shapeshifting events to occur. I've been in a few! Want to work off of established CR? Just assume some temporary bullshit is happening in a game we're already both in! JW is a snek now. Maybe your character is un-changed or maybe they're something else entirely! Up to you.

CANON AU - In his canon, JW has learned to move between worlds. What does he do with this knowledge? He steals shit and then sells it back on earth to antique dealers. Well this time he's gotten ahold of a cursed bangle in the shape of The Ouroboros. It constricted to his wrist and changed his body. Now he's freaked out and acting carelessly and somehow wound up dumping his ass into YOUR character's world.

The tiny ghost of a grin JW had formed died right on his face. "Yeah well unless you wanna become a flying fish, I can't get you there any faster."

The newly turned naga continued on at his sluggish pace on purpose for a good ten minutes until cobblestone gave way to grass. The sides of the river were steep and JW promptly turned and started prying the kid's hands off of him with no ceremony.

"Alright, we're here, have fun at school."

This trip seriously didn't need to take ten minutes. How Fly wasn't fried by now was nothing short of a miracle.

But they made it without a hitch.

Unfortunately for the snake man, coming down to remove his passenger could easily be considered a mistake. Once close enough, the boy dodged his spindly hands and leapt at his escort, wrapping an arm around JW's neck. Once hooked on he used his other fist to give JW a noogie. Just think of it as a special hug.

"Thanks for the lift Grandpa Jay."

JW let out an explosive hiss when his hair was mussed. He didn't really care about appearances like his cousin, but it was the fact that Fly was ruffling it in such a buddy buddy way that made him angry. They were NOT buddies! He swatted at the boy's head and grabbed for his wrist--being kind enough to mind his claws.

And of course he screamed at him as he did it. "GETOFFAMEBEFOREITHROWYOUIN!"

Even with his head being hit and arm being grabbed, Fly was having a good ol' time wrestling with JW. Oh Jay, when will you just accept our friendship?

"Heheheh! I can't until you let me go," you got him kinda snagged, you know.

What started out as swatting soon evolved into a right and propper scuffle. It did not, however, elevate into a fight because when JW was twisting around and trying to catch hold of the Fly fry, his coils drifted out from under him and suddenly both of them were rolling toward the water in a heap of scales.

KER-SPLASH!

He just wasn't sure how many times his life was going to flash before his eyes when dealing with this kid. JW surfaced and paddled needlessly hard, yelling the entire time. He was long enough that if he got the mind to move his tail beneath him, he could stand right up out of the shallows.

From below the surface, Fly watched JW scramble, laughing at his misfortune. Poor old man had no idea it wasn't very deep. Guess it was up to the gnat to come in and 'save' him.

Shaking his head, the merboy swam up under the snake man's coils and pushed them up and over, urging him towards shore. He made sure to really put his tail into it but since it's all muscle, that might be a bit too much.

Feeling something HORRIBLE AND SLIMY touch him from the depths, JW let out an impressive holler as Fly shoved him to the safety of the shore. When his claws hit dirt, he continued to yell as his coils were piled on top of him. Once he was positive he was no longer drowning, he snatched up the first rock he found and held it high above his head.

"I SWEAR--!"

Where was it!? Where was the swamp thing!?

There was no swamp thing. Only a grinning teenage merboy leaning on the bank. But whether one thinks that's better or worse is up to interpretation.

"You're a natural," he laughed, totally un-phased by the rock JW threatened to throw. Leaning back, Fly leisurely floated along the surface. "With a little practice you might learn how to stand in the shallows."

He said it all in good fun, of course. Maybe to dance a little more on Jay's nerves for taking so long to get here too. This definitely beat being stranded on the sidewalk or being sun baked.

JW lets out yet another amusing sound--a half yelp that he cut off. Oh, jeez, he hates the kid but he doesn't want to bash his skull in. He slowly plunked the rock into the river and went to work straightening himself out. "Thanks.

Mutter mutter grumble.

"You're welcome, by the way. You little leech."

Fly made an amused noise of his own, though more of a chortle than anything else. Drifting back up to the bend, he watched JW re-situate himself.

"You know I'm kidding Jay," you know better than to take him personally, right? ... On second thought, don't answer that. "So what're ya gonna do now?"

What kind of fun can you have as a snake man? Jay wasn't particularly good at it so it was hard for the kid to imagine his friend doing anything but slithering and sulking.

"I asked you to stop calling me that." He flicked the very end of his tail like a whip to sling the last drops of water at Fly. But then he grew somber and gazed back up the bank where he could see the tops of the buildings. It was a very good question.

"I'm not sure...there's no crossing guard virtue or vice standing around shouting for us to find puzzle pieces or play some game."
