[Once Lofty is out of sight, Pinkie wipes a hoof across her forehead.]
Whew! Well, it's only a little setback. Tell me more about these triplets we're throwing a bash for! It's important to know your customer after all! And while you're at it, tell me EVERYTHING you've been up to!
[He flips the dustpan over so he can hold it in one hoof while he talks.]
The triplets are probably the most energetic little things I've eeever seen. Like, the type it's probably legitimately dangerous to give extra doses of sugar to. But they deserve a good bash, so I promised their folks I'd give them one!
Then we probably shouldn't give them the red fruit punch. I heard that makes foals really excitable, but I drank it my whole life and never noticed anything strange. They can have grape instead!
[With their teamwork, the shop is put right in no time! Lofty doesn't seem nearly as cranky as she waits by the check out for her broom and pan, but she points her hoof at her eyes and then at the two of them as Pinkie ushers Cheese and their goods out the door.]
It's real important, Mrs. C! We've got a party for triplets to plan, ASAP!
[He says once he's followed Pinkie inside, quickly scuffing a hoof against the ground to brush the last bit of dust from their previous caper away.]
Anyway, I was wondering if you would perhaps be interested in helping me get a cake together for them? Perhaps some other refreshments, too, if you think you'd be up for it.
Yeah, Mrs. C! They're three little ponies so there need to be three cakes!
[She echoes Cheese while bouncing on all four hooves. The blue Earth Pony watches the two of them. Though she always seems a little tired when Pinkie gets up to her antics, what Cheese is offering perks her ears up.]
It would be an honor, Mr. Sandwich! What kind of cake do you need?
[As her boss agrees, Pinkie swaps from bouncing to vibrating violently in place, thrilled that her little bakery family is going to be part of such a big party.]

[Pinkie grins her best cheeriest grin at the unimpressed Lofty as she quickly shimmies back the way the two of them came, sweeping up spilled things.]
Think we can do that run backwards, Cheese?

[Hopefully not knocking even MORE stuff down in the process.]

Grape it is, then! And as far as I could gather, I think they really want an ice cream cake.
Think you could help me there?

[She twirls the broom like a rifle and leans it against her shoulder.]
You can count on Pinkie! We've got plenty of icecream back at Sugarcube Corner!

Buuut...we should probably get this place cleaned up first.

[Pinkie turns it up to eleven and is suddenly shuffling away from the yellow pony at intense speeds, leaving a sparkling floor behind her.]

Okay! Supplies, check! What's next?

[Cheese flashes a last apologetic grin at Lofty over his shoulder as he talks, just as they make it outside.]

[When they arrive, Pinkie all but bursts back through the door.]
We're back from Mount Smooredoore!
[Mrs. Cake is still working away at the counter.]
That's lovely, Pinkie Pie.
Aaaand we brought a quest home with us!
[She waves a hoof to Cheese, giving him the signal to explain.]
