Well, at least he was honest? "Oh...well, I guess that makes sense." He didn't feel especially tall or large, but he supposed compared to an average human, he would be.
"Not the best view...I'll try and be better about eye contact then." He'll tap his foot a moment in thought before nodding to him, curious, "Are you feeling better then? Ready to tackle the day?"
"That would help." Maurice rubbed his face and sat his cup aside. He thought. Yes, he figured it was time to stand. He waved his hand for Hanna to move and slowly stood up. Maurice let out a groan and rubbed his back. Oof. He wouldn't be sleeping up against a wall any time soon.
Now that he was standing, he could look downward at Hanna and after a thought, tipped his head up and then tilted his head to the side so that he was looking at him with just the one eye.
"You look like this all the time."
Once he was done being a pest, he rubbed his back again and looked down the long hall.
"I think so. I'm ready to do some indoor chores today. If I remember correctly, I was almost done with one scroll...unless you've gone and put it somewhere."
"You could have just told me you didn't like looking up my nose, My Lord." He returns, taking the cheapshot of getting him in the gut when Maurice was being an ass. He doesn't hit him hard, just enough to be a surprise and then huffs, walking away.
"On the top shelf where you can't reach, obviously," Though of course, it was exactly where he had left it. He had only really put the furs and things away. "Now get to work, vacation is over."
