[MEME] OH NO A GHOST

OKAY LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS.
I wanna play a ghost. Below are some prompts.
I'm not super picky about setting or 'verse.
A- Your character is a paranormal investigator, an obnoxious tv show host, or is otherwise exploring an area that is said to be haunted for whatever reason. Maybe it's a dare.
B- My character's ghost just SHOWS UP in your character's home. Did your character buy some haunted shit off ebay? Maybe my character died nearby or was summoned via Ouija board by some stupid teenagers at that party you hosted last month. Either way, you got yourself a haunted house now. Congrats.
D- Your character is a necromancer-type-person and has summoned mine's spirit to do their bidding.
E- Your character is an exorcist and is here to shoo mine out of their current haunt or otherwise help them move on.
F- Our characters are friends. Mine died and has returned to hang out/help/finish some business with yours.
G- Your character moves into the house mine is currently haunting. EXCUSE U.
H- POSSESSION. It happened somehow.

[He really wished the lock hadn't broken twenty years ago. He couldn't exactly go to the hardware store and get a new one. He put his cards on the table, patted the bulldog nearest to him and leaned out of the frame. His aura was a barely noticeable green in the gloom of the old house.]
Let's see, whadawe got this year...frat boys? No, I didn't hear anything breaking... Goth kids? Mmmmno, I don't smell grease...aha.
[Yup, it was a teen alright. And alone too. Not too bright, were they? Good grief what was that thing in their hand? Some kind of Star Trek gizmo? JW found himself suddenly worried that he'd nodded off for another dozen years. It was scary the first time it'd happened...and what does a frightened ghost do?]
[Scare the shit out of people.]
[He drifts out of the painting and gets to work.]
[A coldness passes behind Naomi as another creak comes from upstairs. Suddenly every painting in the hallway falls to the floor.]

Naomi shivers at the sudden coldness, suddenly wishing she'd listened to Mama when she told her to bring a hoodie. It hadn't been cold outside though. Maybe-
She spins around, shinning her light just as there's a creak upstairs. There's nothing behind her then, and maybe she could chalk the coldness up to being scared.
Then every painting falls and she shrieks, dropping her phone and spear as she drops into a crouching position, hands tucked into her chest.
Thank goodness she left her candy pail with Bridget.]

[JW appears at the end of the hall and drifts towards Naomi, waving a hand idly and sending the paintings drifting back to their hooks as he passes them. If not for being transparent and green, the tall man doesn't seem dead at all. Just...dated. His clothing looks like it's been made out of an ugly sofa from the 70's.]
[The ghost solidifies enough to pick up the phone when he reaches the cowering girl. His touch makes the screen flicker as he turns it over a few times in his hands. He isn't sure he likes it and handles it as if it might bite him.]

Another, tinier, scream escapes her when the paintings start moving. She curls into a tighter ball, the tears slipping out. It's only when she hears her phone move that she looks up, eyes wide and terrified as she looks at the man holding her phone. Under any other circumstances she'd yell at him to put it down but this was not the time.
He didn't... He didn't look like a ghost though. He looked like someone in a
really uglyhippie costume. When she finally finds her voice it's small, more of a squeak.]
'scuse me?
no subject
Excuse you is right. Y'know this is private property?
no subject
[A trembling hand points at the phone he's holding, teary eyes wide. How she managed to have a little sass is a mystery.]
C-Can I have my phone back, mister?
no subject
If I give it to you, will you get lost?
[Can't you see he has super important, pressing ghost business to tend to? Like...floating listlessly around his house and making the walls bleed?]
no subject
I can't.
[She has to stay in the house for an hour. Slowly she rocks back onto her butt, sitting with her knees tucked into her chest.
She rubs the heel of her hand against one of her eyes, wiping away her tears. Was this the ghost? Ghosts weren't supposed to be able to hold things.]
no subject
[He points with the phone and there, at the end of the hall, the front door swings open, inviting in a bunch of leaves from the porch. JW's shoulders sag as he regrets that. He was going to have to sweep later.]
[Ignoring her tears, he goes back to inspecting the phone. Its battery is nearly dead. Suddenly his thumb, though chilly, still pulses with some kind of force so when it passes over a certain part of the screen, it makes a clicking sound. He nearly drops it in his surprise and holds the thing out toward Naomi at arm's length.]
What do you kids have in your purses these days? Ray guns?
[Enjoy that blurry ghost selfie, Naomi.]
no subject
Outside he might hear more screams from the group of teenagers outside, along with hurried footsteps as half of them flee.
She doesn't even seem to realize that he's taken a ghostly selfie, she doesn't even seem aware that he's holding it out to her or that the batteries nearly dead. She's too busy hugging her knees, face buried against the fabric of her costume.
He might not be a ghost but he was scary and Naomi was just going to sit here sobbing.]
I-I want my Mama! 'nd, 'nd Kou!
[Ooooor at least that's what she's probably saying. It's a little intelligible at the moment.]
no subject
[He arrives at the door in time to see even more teenagers running for the hills. Suddenly, the girl being alone in his house makes more sense. His brow furrows and he clenches his teeth, his image wobbling in frustration.]
[TEENAGERS. UGH. He moves to chase them but is stopped short like a dog on a chain. With a swear he drifts backwards, clutching his chest. The tether.]
For shit's sake...oof.
no subject
[Her voice is wobbly, a little more clear this time. She scrubs at her eye, uncurling when he moves away from her. When she sees her phone on the floor she scrambles to pick it up, clutching it to her chest.]
Plus... Plus i-If you eat me my big broth-brother'll come 'nd beat you up!
no subject
For cryin' out loud, kid, ghosts don't eat people! Ghosts don't eat anything!
[Great, now he's thinking about food. He'd tie a man in a knot just to taste a brownie again. His temper simmers down though as Naomi continues to sniffle there on his hallway floor. He REFUSES to feel guilty for scaring her. REFUSES. JW hugs himself, the sting of the tether still throbbing in his core.]
A double dog dare, huh...not much you can do about that.
no subject
[If Naomi could have said no she would have. Actually, she tried. That's how it turned into a double dog dare.
She keeps sniffling, seemingly unable to actually stop, as she looks up at him.]
You... You're not gonna eat me?
no subject
No. I couldn't even if I wanted to.
no subject
A tiny, startled noise escapes her. She knew her battery wasn't fully charged but it most certainly was so low before!]
Hey! What did'cha do to my phone?
[She looks back at him, pouting. It would seem now that the threat of being eaten had passed she was less afraid of him. That or she'd just gotten tired of screaming every five seconds.]
no subject
That's a phone? Good grief, I have been asleep again!
no subject
[Wiping her eyes on her arm, they've seemed to have to halted for now.]
Ghosts can sleep?
no subject
[It's easier to distract himself from feeling sad by being an ass to somebody else.]
no subject
I'm fourteen!
[She knew she was tiny, and a little childish, but she was tired of everyone thinking she was twelve or younger!]
I got it so I can call my Mama or friends 'nd take photos 'nd play games. Duh.
no subject
Don't you DUH me, mortal!
no subject
Do-Don't set your house on fire!
no subject
That would be terrible wouldn't it! You'd have to leave, then, and then you'd be backing out of a double dog dare!
[The flames grow taller as he grins. Will he do it?]
no subject
[A panic enters her voice as the flames grow. She trembles a little, trying to not just run. She had to stay for an hour!]
no subject
Do what you want, kid, just don't get snot on my rugs.
