[MEME] OH NO A GHOST

OKAY LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS.
I wanna play a ghost. Below are some prompts.
I'm not super picky about setting or 'verse.

A- Your character is a paranormal investigator, an obnoxious tv show host, or is otherwise exploring an area that is said to be haunted for whatever reason. Maybe it's a dare.

B- My character's ghost just SHOWS UP in your character's home. Did your character buy some haunted shit off ebay? Maybe my character died nearby or was summoned via Ouija board by some stupid teenagers at that party you hosted last month. Either way, you got yourself a haunted house now. Congrats.

C- Your character is also a ghost. Maybe they died together. Maybe my character is new to this whole being dead thing and yours shows them the ghostly ropes. Maybe it's the other way around. Either way, ghost adventures are had. Not currently looking for new PLSs with this plot!

D- Your character is a necromancer-type-person and has summoned mine's spirit to do their bidding.

E- Your character is an exorcist and is here to shoo mine out of their current haunt or otherwise help them move on.

F- Our characters are friends. Mine died and has returned to hang out/help/finish some business with yours.

G- Your character moves into the house mine is currently haunting. EXCUSE U.

H- POSSESSION. It happened somehow.

IF A CHARACTER YOU WANT TO MEET IS MISSING, LET ME KNOW.

Is that what it's called?

[Alice frowns at the glower.] You look like Dinah when I tell her playtime's finished.

[But she blinks at the question.] Chores? No. I've done those already. ..Do ghosts have to do chores?

[Because why else would he bring them up, right?]
goldeneyeball: (a sunset and a good smoke)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-19 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
[JW's face pulls another fantastic pout. UGH. How dare she compare him to a CAT. He's assuming Dinah is the wretched animal in the room.]

Well there's got to be something you can keep yourself busy with.

[He drifts back to the mirror, but alas, it is only a mirror for now.]

The only chores I have are the ones I choose.
victoriantype: (Listening to the Cheshire;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-10-19 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
That must be very nice.. I don't get much of a choice in mine. [Alice almost bites back a giggle at his pout.] Stop sulking, Dinah's a very nice cat once you get to know her. And I can't really think of anything right now, no.

[Idly, she heads towards her bed to fold her blanket.]
goldeneyeball: (i cant go to jail i have a wife and kids)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-19 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
I AM NOT SULKING.

[His whole outline prickles again as he turns away from her to frown at his lack of a reflection. He continues to glower into the looking glass until he feels it. An awful pang sort of feeling, right in the pit of his stomach. He doesn't have time to react before he finds himself drifting backwards. He grabs for the mirror, but all he does is leave a foggy patch on it.]

What--

[To his horror, he sees it. She's pulling him as if he were a party balloon. That book was more powerful than he thought, he--he's tethered. SHIT. He can't let her find out!]
victoriantype: (Or a dream;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-10-19 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
What? [Alice blinks and looks over her shoulder as she starts to work on folding. She slows and then stops with a] ...Are you a little closer than before?
goldeneyeball: (suspicious)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-19 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
[He turns to face her, throwing one leg over the other as if he were reclining in a fancy chair.]

I moved. I can do that.
victoriantype: (Drying off after a swim;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-10-19 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
[Alice looks at him for a long moment.] ..Yes, well. It just seems like you're moving very fast. [She makes short work of folding the blanket and then thinks of something] Do you count sheep when you can't sleep?
goldeneyeball: (yeah yeah)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-19 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
[He folds his arms EVEN HARDER. It almost looks like he's hugging himself. Nervous about something.]

Ghosts can't sleep.
victoriantype: (And that's how Spring works;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-10-19 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
Are you cold? And if you can't sleep, then why did you sound sleepy when you answered at first? [Hah, logic! Alice moves from the bed back towards the mirror, studying it.]
goldeneyeball: (a sunset and a good smoke)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-19 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
[JW hurries to drift after her so that it's CLEARLY his idea.]

We don't sleep like you do. You sleep because your body needs it. We...mmmm...

[He rolls his wrist as he thinks of words.]

Zone out to avoid eventually going insane from the crushing boredom of eternity as an incorporeal being. You follow?
victoriantype: (Or a truth;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-10-19 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Somewhat.. I'm not sure what incorporeal means, but I'll assume it means "ghost". [Alice taps on the mirror and then looks back to JW.] If I asked you to count sheep, would you?
goldeneyeball: (suspicious)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-19 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
[JW's brow lifs so high that it drifts off his face.]

No. I will not count any amount.
victoriantype: (It's not hard to catch him!;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-10-19 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
What about juggling? Or turning into something else?
goldeneyeball: (shut your mouth)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-19 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not HERE to entertain you!

[His outline flickers again and the air grows cooler when his temper grows hotter.]
victoriantype: (Upset a tea cup;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-10-19 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
[Alice huffs.] Then why are you? Besides, if you can transform then you should be able to do other things!
goldeneyeball: (uuuugh)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-19 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
I'm here because you dragged me here and just because I don't want to doesn't mean I can't. Haven't you read any ghost stories before?
victoriantype: (There's plenty of room!;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-10-19 02:18 pm (UTC)(link)
But if the mirror acts like a door, couldn't you have just not went through it? [Alice shakes her head "no"] No, never! But I did read a little bit of a book about a vampire.
goldeneyeball: (i am not a moose)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-19 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[The ghost's dark eyes glaze over momentarily.]

[Why had he come out? He quickly puts his frown back on and turns his attention to the white kitten. He knows she can see him as clearly as his summoner so he blows a fake hiss in her direction with aims to scare her away.]

[Because that's the mature thing to do.]
victoriantype: (You're just a pack of cards;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-10-30 07:54 pm (UTC)(link)
[Rude! Dinah meows and burrows into her bed. Alice frowns and gives JW a look.] That was quite rude! She didn't do anything!
goldeneyeball: (uuuugh)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-30 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
She's a cat. Cats are born guilty.
victoriantype: (Drying off after a swim;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-10-31 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[Alice frowns and moves to give Dinah a pet on the head.] Not all cats, and she's very nice if you get to know her.
goldeneyeball: (hrmf)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-10-31 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
[The ghost lets out a gusty harumph and turns his attention elsewhere.]

There a clock in this house I can watch?
victoriantype: (Listening to the Cheshire;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-11-15 05:38 pm (UTC)(link)
There's one in the living room, near the fireplace. You're that eager to leave?

[She frowns a bit, but motions for him to follow her as she heads for the living room.]
goldeneyeball: (yeah yeah)

[personal profile] goldeneyeball 2015-11-17 08:29 am (UTC)(link)
Of course I am!

[He lets her get far enough away that following looks like his idea, but not so far as to clue her in that he's tethered.]

[The house is, admittedly, a nice place. He wishes he could explore it a little more even though he knows he can't touch anything or peek into any of the cupboards.]

What do your folks do to afford a place like this?
victoriantype: (My world would be a Wonderland;)

[personal profile] victoriantype 2015-11-20 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Father works as a banker, and my mother is a book keeper.

[She still hasn't picked up on the tethered thing, and slows in front of the clock]

What did your parents do?
