Oops. Welp, if this was the sexiest conversation they ever had, heaven help their poor little souls.
"H-hey, naw you're fine. Like. damn fine." Hanna sits up himself, feeling the same need to hug himself, but now he'll just be scooting over, putting his hands on Maurice's arms and attempting to pull them down. "I can do me whenever and I'm fine. It was just, yanno." He glances anywhere but at Maurice for a moment, "Awkward. In the truck. So I thought- B-but it's totally fine!"
He scoots just a little more, knee's touching, "I could go for a hug and a cuddle though. Yours are the best, promise. Don't need anything else."
Maurice jerked at the contact, not expecting it. He shot Hanna a mournful look, one that suggested that Hanna was right, he had been dreading it. And that he was ashamed of himself. And it sucked to talk about. He hadn't had any Him Time in...gosh, he couldn't remember. After a while he just stopped trying. He'd shoved that down in the hole with 'being in love'.
"I know but... I wanna be able to do that. With you." He stole a glance at him, at his hand on his arm before directing his eyes back to his knees. "It's...it's kinda funny in a way because I don't know the first thing about doin' stuff with, uh, a guy. I mean I THOUGHT about it a few times anyway." He started to make a few vague gestures, eyes wandering back to Hanna again with that same newness they had when they'd held hands for the first time. These sorts of looks were allowed now.. "But I didn't wanna look dumb by askin'."
"Well. That'd be nice but I think, yanno. Options are a little limited, and to be completely honest, you nicked me with your teeth kissing me, so." he kind of gives Maurice this grin that is like, trying to lighten the mood as much as possible, "And you have got to get some nail clippers or I'm not sure how well that'd work out either."
He shifts, just a little, moving Maurice's arms and places himself matter of factly in the dead man's lap, leaning against him and placing his head on his shoulder. "So did I but do I look like I get it on with every dude on the block?" He tilts his head, kisses Maurice's chin, feeling the guilt start to melt away. Maurice seemed better now at least, "Aside from this one girl I kissed in pre-school, you're all the action I've ever gotten so we can call it even and the internet can be our best friend."
"Maybe you should just grow a thicker skin." Maurice turned his head and pouted when Hanna plopped himself into his lap. He couldn't hold it for long when he kissed him though, his grumpy frown wobbling into a reluctant grin. "You're like a--dorky GRAPE."
Said the guy who was still fucking purple.
He was still embarrassed, still sort of ashamed. But Hanna didn't give up on him, throw off the covers, and storm out in disappointment. Maurice let out a huff, still flustered, but happy for it to be angled in a different direction. "I guess so...you can finally show me how the hell to use it."
Suddenly wanting to save face, Maurice tucked his chin and looked down at Hanna, peeling back his lips in a broad, jagged grin. He was trying very hard to look like a dangerous, sexy panther ok. And then he struck, holding Hanna out and bringing his mouth against his neck. But instead of biting, he made this hideous, ridiculous snorting sound reminiscent of some slathering beast against his skin--teeth safely tucked behind his lips.
"How am I like a grape, dude?" He lets his arms wrap around Maurice's shoulders, "It's cool, I can do that. If I could teach you how to enjoy books, then I could teach you how to use the internet."
He waits, unsure of what that look is really the beginning of, and when he leans in, Hanna's thinking he's not going to bite, but kiss and instead it's a raspberry and he squeals, loud enough that it's definitely heard throughout. "Oh my god, you ass. Why am I here? Why?" He laughs, pushing against Maurice to get his face away from his neck before he goes in for a tickle attack. "En guard!"
Maurice wraps his arms around Hanna, turning his head and growing more 'vicious' with his stupid loud snarling noises. But when the ginger's hands hit his sides he lets out a squawk and releases him in attempts to cover his weak spots.
He snatched up the pillow and shoved it against Hanna's face. "I'm trying to be sexy, dammit! You are supposed to be wooed by my raw animal power!"
Meranda, who was in her room down the hallway, just hunched closer to her computer and turned her music up.
Hanna laughs, grabbing the pillow and smacking Maurice in the face with it. "I think you and I wouldn't know sexy if it bit us in the ass, dude." And he's sure he's true. They were the biggest dorks and there is no fronting there. They both knew it. It was an eternal fact.
He lunges, tickling the vampire's side more, though the moment he gets Maurice on his back, he stops and grins down at the other man, "Okay, okay. Truce? No raspberries, no tickling?"
Maurice's yelps of protest turned into an all-out holler as Hanna's horrible little fingers kept going up and down his side. This resulted in a lot of flailing that made him look like a malfunctioning chuck-e-cheese animatronic because if he allowed himself to actually swat Hanna his head might fly off.
"I thought so." Hanna says smugly, sitting on Maurice's stomach and looking proud of himself. He knew how to subdue his big nerd boyfriend.
"Hey," He says softly, expression softening as they both calm, "Love you, by the way. And thanks for the sandwich today, it was delicious and you're the best." Putting both hands on Maurice's shoulders to steady himself, he leans down, kissing his nose. "Just the way you are."
It was pitiful how light Hanna was. Maurice had to laugh at the nose kiss, probably bouncing Hanna in the process. If he wasn't already purple, the sincere compliment would have turned him all over again. It was going to take some serious effort to train his brain out of thinking that he was broken...but if he'd trained it out of thinking he could never have anybody, anything was possible!
Even fooling around with his little redhead if some of his parts were out of commission.
Something glints at the neck of Hanna's shirt and he's distracted by it for a moment before his eyes are pulled right back up to that dumb smile.

It was not sexy at all.
