[MEME] OH NO A GHOST

OKAY LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS.
I wanna play a ghost. Below are some prompts.
I'm not super picky about setting or 'verse.

A- Your character is a paranormal investigator, an obnoxious tv show host, or is otherwise exploring an area that is said to be haunted for whatever reason. Maybe it's a dare.

B- My character's ghost just SHOWS UP in your character's home. Did your character buy some haunted shit off ebay? Maybe my character died nearby or was summoned via Ouija board by some stupid teenagers at that party you hosted last month. Either way, you got yourself a haunted house now. Congrats.

C- Your character is also a ghost. Maybe they died together. Maybe my character is new to this whole being dead thing and yours shows them the ghostly ropes. Maybe it's the other way around. Either way, ghost adventures are had. _{Not currently looking for new PLSs with this plot!}

D- Your character is a necromancer-type-person and has summoned mine's spirit to do their bidding.

E- Your character is an exorcist and is here to shoo mine out of their current haunt or otherwise help them move on.

F- Our characters are friends. Mine died and has returned to hang out/help/finish some business with yours.

G- Your character moves into the house mine is currently haunting. EXCUSE U.

H- POSSESSION. It happened somehow.

[So that means Kou's asshole-ish-ness can be useful?]

Is that some sort of threat? Because you probably shouldn't threaten someone when they're going to help get back to your bar.

So, what, are you just gonna keep me as a pet?

Hell no. My cat would probably try attacking you, get confused as to why she can't hit you and then try again. It'd be annoying as hell.

What we're going to do is head back to my apartment, then I'm going to call Maria and get her to not talk in riddles for fucking once and figure out how to undo this so you can go back to doing whatever the hell it was you were doing before I yanked you here by accident.

[A brief pause, then he almost awkwardly adds.]

Which, uh, I'm sorry about?

[toothaches]

_{[Maurice gives the boy a squint. He was generally a nice ghost but he could make Kou wish he could banish him if he kept on being a little punk. Luckily, the ghost's chill nature allowed him to shrug it off again. He let out another icy, calming breath.]}

I forgive you. Who's Maria?

[Honestly, he probably deserves it.]

She is probably one of the most annoying woman you will ever meet. [But are his cheeks turning red? They certainly are.] She's a friend of mine, and actually has been studying necromancy as minor or something. I think at least she decided to minor in it. She kind of just knows everything about magic so it's hard to keep track of what she's actually getting a degree for.

[toothaches]

_{[Red cheeks even in the face of the chill that Maurice gives off? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH. He tries not to grin too big.]}

Great. She sounds exactly like the girl to talk to. I'll try to behave until then. But only if you do.

[Oh my god don't grin at him like that, it makes his cheeks go even redder. He turns quickly, so that his back is to Maurice.]

I've been behaving. [No you haven't, don't lie.] Let's go.

[toothaches]

_{[THat gets a good-natured snicker out of him.]}

Lead the way.

_{[Maurice is thankful that he can't get lost at least.]}

[While good-natured, the snicker earns him a middle finger. Kou zips his jacket up fully, hiding the lower half of his now bright red face in the collar.

Thankfully it's not a long walk to the parking lot, though he pauses when he reaches a parking spot with a motorcycle.]

... You're not gonna lecture me how this could kill me too, are you? 'Cause if you are we'll walk.

[Because he did summon a D.A.R.E ghost.]

Or, uh, if it's easier, we can walk. It's long, but I've already been dragging you around.

[toothaches]

_{[Maurice has the exact opposite reaction. He hovers close to the machine and circles it with a huge grin.]}

Oh, man! I always wanted to ride one of these babies!

_{[He wasn't sure what kind of effect trailing Kou on something so fast would have on him but...it was a motorcycle!]}

It'd be faster though, wouldn't it?

It would, yeah, but I don't think you'd get to exactly ride it.

[Vague gesture to the fact he's floating.]

We can give it a shot though? And if anything at the first stop light if you don't like gettin' dragged I'll park it and we'll walk.

[Kou are you being considerate all of a sudden...?]

[toothaches]

_{[Maurice nods eagerly and moves aside, all but patting the seat to get Kou to climb on.]}

Sounds great, let's go!

_{[Naturally, when they take off, Maurice would be yanked after him like a kite.]}

[reflected_image]

[Oh this is going to end horribly.

But if Maurice says it's okay, then Kou will give it a shot. He grabs his helmet, slipping it on because safety first before he takes a seat. He gives the ghost one last look before he starts the engine, flicking the helmet visor down.

Then, vroom! They're off. Or at least they're off until the first light where Kou comes to a stop. He flips the visor back up, looking left and right until he spots the poor ghost.]

... You okay?

[toothaches]

_{[When they stopped, for a moment it seemed that the spirit had been left behind. However, he slowly came back into focus, his hair blown in every direction, revealing the ugly headwound he had. His clothes were rumpled and he blinked furiously to catch up with the rest of the world.]}

Wh-wh...WOAH! AHah! Wow, that was wild! Oh...oh, man, if I had a brain I think I'd be dizzy.

_{[He is super dizzy.]}

Ghosts can get dizzy?

[You learn something new everyday. Actually, today Kou was learning quite a few new things.

He sighs a little, flipping the visor down, turning at the corner until he finds a parking spot on one of the side streets. After that he cuts the engine, getting off the bike and taking his helmet off.]

Right. We're walking.

[toothaches]

What! No, man! It wasn't that bad!

_{[He brings his hands together and gives Kou a huge smile that he hope is convincing.]}

Just another block?

[reflected_image]

No.

[He states this firmly as he pockets his keys.]

Last thing we need is a dizzy fucking ghost. Let's go.

_{[Maurice's smile melts into a pout but he decides to let it go for now. He pockets his hands and drifts behind the boy, being sure to get a good eyeful of the world around them.]}

As much as I like my bar, I gotta admit, I'm kinda diggin' the idea of a little vacation.

[Kou glances to the side at the ghost, keeping his own hands in his jacket pockets. It's only when he's sure no one will actually notice him talking to himself that he answers.]

You really never leave that place?

[toothaches]

Nope. Can't, really. Not without some kinda intervention.

_{[A pointed look.]}

Ghost rules, y'know.

[reflected_image]

I don't, actually.

[Pointed look right back at you, Maurice.]

Would you if you had the chance?

[toothaches]

_{[Maurice folds his arms and speaks as though he's reciting from something he'd been forced to memorize in school.]}

You stay where you lay. And you bet. I woulda gone to my parents' house. Or at least watch my nieces grow up.

Huh.

[That's all he really has to say, out loud at least. Kou keeps walking, default scowl firmly in place.

After a few minutes of silence he glances at Maurice again.]

What if you could?

[toothaches]

What do you mean?

_{[He speeds up a little to float along side Kou instead of behind him.]}

If you could leave the bar, would you?

[He thought he'd been rather straight forward.]
